It is impossible to call all Saints who use rosary as a pure way to develop their saintliness. We just need however, to remember Saint Louis Marie Grignon de Monfort, the composer of a masterpiece about rosary. And the other, who is closer to us, Padre Pio from Pietrelcina, who was just canonized by Pope John Paul II. As a real apostle of Rosary, the blessed Beato Bartolo Longo has a special charisma. His way to the direction of holiness exactly depends on the inspiration which appeared from the bottom of his heart: “Everyone who spread Rosary will be saved!”.

Based on that inspiration, he feels that he is called to establish a Church -- which is presented to the Holy Saint of Virgin Rosary at Pompei, and for the ruins of the old city, whose citizens strenuously listen to the proclaim of Christ before the eruption of Mount Vesuvio finally buried them all on the 79^th Century -- for remembering the next century generation of the grey city as a testimonial to the light and the shadows of the Classic Century. Through all of his living work, and especially through the pray of “fifteen Saturdays”, Bartolo Longo develops the main point of Rosary which is contemplatively and centered to Christ, in which he gets the support and help from Pope Leo XIII.

Rosary is also a way to proclaim and develop the knowledge, in which the mystery of Christ is presented continuously to various Christians’ experiences. The model is a prayer which is characterizing of meditation and contemplation, that can form the Christians according to Christ’s heart. When the basic of Rosary mixes all the elements that are needed for an effective meditation, especially in a feast together in the Churches or holy places, then it can be a valuable opportunity to pray for the pastors.

In the same way, our Queen of Rosary continues the work to understand Christ. The history of Rosary shows us how this prayer is used especially by the Dominians in the hard times to Church for crumbling by heresies. Todays we face new challenges. Why do we not try to ask help through the Rosary prayer once again, with the same faith as they who were ahead of us? Rosary keeps all the power and still become the worth source of the faith establishment for every good evangelists.

“…The most important reason to courage the practice of Rosary is that praying Rosary becomes a most effective way to the development of faith among the faithful, especially those who have a very determined will about the Christian mystery, which I have proclaimed in the Apostle Letter, Novo Millenio Ineuente, as a real ‘holy manner’: “The thing that is needed is, that the life of the Christians is especially known in the art of praying”. It is because of today’s culture, even in between there seems so many conflictions, to see the growth of a new calling to the spiritual way which also influence the other religions, it is very urge that our Christian community have to become “the genuine schools of pray”.

Rosary is included among the Christian contemplation traditions, which are good and already tested. This prayer is developed in the West and had special characteristics as a meditative prayer, which in a certain way go along with the ‘spiritual prayer’ or ‘Jesus prayer’, that have rooted and developed in the East Christian tradition.
